This past week, Big 12 wrestling featured upsets, a top program continuing dominance, and another historical program reaching a new significant mark.
Here are three takeaways from the Big 12 wrestling world over the weekend (in no particular order).
SDSU Upsets Top-10 Mizzou
South Dakota State notched the most impressive win of the weekend and probably even the most significant victory in its program's history.
The No. 23 Jackrabbits upset ninth-ranked Missouri 21-12 on the road Saturday for their first win over a Division-I top-10 opponent in program history.
"It was a full team effort," SDSU coach Damion Hahn told media after the dual. "I thought if we wrestled at our best, we were going to be in the dual, but guys found something extra and came up with some big wins for us."
The upset was Mizzou's first conference loss in almost five years, with this loss being its first season in the Big 12 since 2012.
Trailing 12-6, SDSU won the last five dual matches to make the upset happen.
SDSU finished a packed weekend with a doubleheader on Sunday, beating SIU-Edwardsville and losing to No. 25 Central Michigan. The Jackrabbits have a 9-2 record with West Virginia next on the schedule on Friday.
On Saturday, Mizzou will look to bounce back with a doubleheader against Wyoming and Utah Valley. The Tigers are 7-3 this season.
Oklahoma State Reaches 10-0
Oklahoma State made its victory over a talented No. 15 Lehigh look so easy on Sunday, some might even say it was Fix'd.
The fourth-ranked Cowboys upended Lehigh 29-6 after Daton Fix jumpstarted OSU with a first-period fall in the second match of the dual. Fix, ranked second at 133 pounds, pinned No. 18 Malyke Hines in 1:34.
"I thought Fix looked like Fix against a pretty competitive kid. A kid that can wrestle," OSU coach John Smith told media after the dual.
OSU won the first four matches of the dual before Lehigh tallied back-to-back decisions at 157 and 165 pounds. Lehigh's only other win came at 285 pounds.
OSU reached double-digit wins at 10-0, and 4-0 in the Big 12. Lehigh is 8-5 this season.
ISU Joins OSU With Historical Mark
On Sunday, Iowa State's 26-9 win against North Dakota State was the Cyclones' 1,100th dual win in program history.

The OSU Cowboys are the only other Division-I program to reach that mark.
Last year's 157-pound NCAA champion David Carr also reached a personal merit in the dual, beating No. 9 Jared Franek 7-3 for his 50th career win. Forty-five of those victories have come in a row.

No. 10 ISU has posted a 9-1 record this season and is 2-0 in the Big 12.
Also, as if that weren't enough good news for the Cyclones, they have since received word that University of Virginia transfer Patrick Noonan will be joining the squad, adding depth to the ISU roster.
