Session four at the U23 World Championships Tuesday afternoon in Belgrade was a quick round for Team USA.

Taylor LaMont (55kg) was the only athlete in action, wrestling for World bronze. Multiple other Team USA Greco guys were left to wait to see if they would return to the tournament via repechage on Wednesday.

LaMont was on the losing end of a 9-0 decision to 2018 Cadet European Championships bronze medalist Nihad Guluzade of Azerbaijan.

After LaMont was hit with a passivity call, Guluzade was able to turn the Utah Valley collegian twice for a 5-0 lead. In the second period, Azerbaijan added a takedown and a turn to win, 9-0.

Elsewhere, Dylan Gregerson (60kg), Nate Moore (72kg), and Nicholas Boykin (97kg) learned that they would be brought back into repechage early tomorrow morning during session five.

Gregerson will face Mukhammadkodir Yusupov of Uzbekistan. Moore will face Erik Persson of Sweden. Lastly, Boykin will face Ondrej Dadak of the Czech Republic tomorrow in the repechage.

Unfortunately, Alston Nutter (67kg) and Tommy Brackett (82kg) did not advance to repechage and were eliminated.
