The final session (session 13) is officially in the books, and the 2021 Junior World Championships in Ufa, Russia, have concluded on Sunday afternoon. The Championships couldn’t have ended on a better note for Team USA, though, as Braxton Amos became a 2021 Greco World bronze medalist.

The bronze medal marks the second of the week for Amos. The Wisconsin Badger freshman claimed a World gold medal during the men’s freestyle tournament earlier this week.

In his bronze-medal bout with Arkyt Orozbekov of Kyrgyzstan, Amos bounced back dominantly after his semifinal defeat. Against Orozbekov, Braxton jumped to a 5-0 lead roughly 30 seconds in thanks to a takedown with a gut wrench and a step-out point. After the restart, Amos promptly added another step-out and a final takedown to seal the deal and claim his second 2021 World medal with 4:46 left on the clock.
