For the second time in less than a week, the New Jersey Regional Training Center (NJRTC) is making moves.

This past weekend, the NJRTC and J'den Cox announced via Twitter that the two-time world champion and Olympic bronze medalist would join the NJRTC as a part-time athlete. Cox will split his training between the NJRTC in New Jersey and the Olympic/Paralympic Training Center in Colorado.

In addition to the Cox news, NJRTC announced late Tuesday night, May 25, that the NJRTC and the New York City Regional Training Center (NYCRTC) would be joining forces.

The move comes after the NJRTC recently separated from Rutgers' Scarlet Knights Wrestling Club. Previously both Princeton RTC and Rutgers RTC joined and competed under the NJRTC name in 2016 in an effort to strengthen wrestling in New Jersey.
