The Ultimate Club Duals Begin Tomorrow
Pictured: Fort Dodge's three-time IHSAA State Champion and four-time finalist, Drake Ayala.  If you're currently going through some college wrestling withdrawals, here's a possible substitute option: The Ultimate Club Duals in State College, Pennsylvania, this weekend, March 17-18. Sure, this isn't college wrestling per se, and it is freestyle rules as opposed to the folkstyle rules we see in the high school and college ranks, but it has a strong field of high schoolers who are soon-to-be possible NCAA stars in a matter of months. Plus, some 2021 NCAA placewinners are competing as well. The event will feature  more than 40 nationally ranked recruits from across the country who are heading to a variety of different Division I schools.
